FAQs

What should I expect if I am trying Jiu-Jitsu for the first time?

Stepping into an academy is the most challenging, but once you walk through our doors we are here to help you have a great experience during your first class. If this is your first Jiu-Jitsu class ever, then one of our Instructors will help guide you and show you the structure of our class. The expectation for yourself during the first class is to just discover if the practice of Jiu-Jitsu excites you. The class is structured with a Warm Up, Technique, Positional Sparring and then Full Rolling Rounds. Again, we are just happy to have you walk through our doors!
